She holds more than 120 U.S. patents and other international patents. Lori played the role of "Shark" in the television show, "Shark Tank". Born in Chicago on December 9, 1969. The second child of a realtor and psychologist Greiner, she was raised in the Chicago's Near North Side. Her parents divorced when she was just eight. She received her B.A. was awarded to her. in communications with a focus on journalism from Loyola University Chicago. While in the college years, she was employed by The Chicago Tribune. When she first started out she was to become an actor. Lori Greiner made costume jewelry and later sold it. The mid-1990s were when Lori Greiner created a plastic organizer that could hold 100 pairs of earrings. The organizer's earring holders were picked up from J. C. Penney before the holiday season and became a massive success. In her first six months of business, Greiner signed a deal to design items to sell at JC Penney. Her products were being sold through cable television in less than a year. In just 2 minutes, her debut public appearance , she sold more than 2500 earring organizers.
