Matthew Matt James was conceived in North Carolina, on the 5th of December 1991. His parents include Manny James and Patty James. The mother of Manny James was caucasian while his father was Nigerian. In 2010, James was a graduate of Sanderson High School. Then James attended Wake Forest University in order to earn a Bachelor's degree in Science in Economics. James first became famous for his role as The Bachelorette's reality TV star. In 2020, he was chosen to play the role of bachelor in season 25 becoming The only African American male lead which will premiere in 2021. James was the ideal selection for the role since he's rounded tall, athletic and has a good sense of humor. The show was over when he decided to choose Rachael Krkconnell to start an affair with her. In 2021, he joined forces with the well-known dancer Arnold for season 30 of Dancing with the Stars. James as well as Arnold finished 12th.
